Address book not updating simpsons flanders dating video
The information that was updated for the user was the Title and Department fields in AD.Everyone saw the old entries however there were two behaviors based on Lync client version. As of this writing it seems the information closest to the user takes the highest priority.A local Outlook Contact will override the local Lync Address Book. This means that the contact does not have a number on Lync and therefore cannot be contacted, even though the number is present in Outlook. We have run a sync operation through a batch file but this only works for the length of the current log on session on the company network.
How can I make sure the user's Lync contacts are synced?I opened up the RTCAB database and ran the following SQL command. The user account was previously in the Disabled OU but has since been moved to the built-in User OU.What tripped me up, and I have still not tracked down the answer on, is why did it require a Restore Defaults from the tool to finally force the address book generation process to look at the updated AD entries? My understanding is Update-Cs User Dabase should have accomplished this step once I had edited SQL to point to the correct AD mapping.
Hope this helps clarify some of the randomness of the Lync 20 address book process.Lync 2010 would almost always show the old information and Lync 2013 would sometimes show the old information and sometimes show the updated information.
